Welcome, ICF Richmond Chapter Members!
It was a pleasure to spend time with you in your professional development chapter event on Jan 28, 2025! The Intersection of Coaching and Trauma is one of my favorite subjects. Many coaches are seeing more conversations about and symptoms of trauma show up in our coaching sessions, and we all have questions about how to handle it, what to say, what to do, what may be next for our clients.
I’ve offered some handy and thoughtful resources below for you to download or listen to. It is my hope that increasing our knowledge and understanding of this intersection will support us to be more skilled, more relaxed, able to recognize and work with traumatic stress and symptoms arising in our clients during our coaching conversations. All of this moves us as coaches to being more trauma-informed with our clients.
