How do you see yourself as a professional, partner or parent?

Are you spending your life energy on the things that matter most to you? Or does “life” get in the way?

The challenges of leadership demand competencies beyond what you may have learned at home or school. I coach professionals, partners and parents to master tough conversations, crystalize their “why” and stay accountable to what they care about. I do this by partnering to develop grounded presence, clear outcomes and candid accountability.

The most meaningful part of my life has been spent observing, serving and developing people as a mother, choreographer, relationship educator, massage therapist and Presence Based Coach. Expertise in somatic (body) awareness makes my approach to coaching unique, using the science of body–mind connection as a vital tool for personal and professional development.

As a Gottman-trained Relationship Educator, Board Certified Massage Therapist and Body Worker, and USAID Humanitarian Leadership facilitator, I present and facilitate in the United States and internationally with an emphasis on relationships and leadership development. I offer mindfulness retreats on location, coach individuals, couples and teams using nature as a classroom when possible.

Whether on the trail with clients in the mountains of Utah or on Zoom half way across the world, walking side by side with inquisitive individuals is my passion, promoting more respectful, generative relationships.

Monette Bailey ACC

Washington D.C. metro area

I find it exciting to support and witness “ah ha” moments that can happen during a coaching session. It is the beginning of something new. There is an energy generated when people turn their insights into fresh ideas about how they want to work and live.

To help this awareness happen for my clients, I pull from more than a decade of organization development experience, built on solid training and regular practice. Whether helping university faculty and staff tap into their innate strengths to achieve shared goals or serving as a coach supporting executive MBA student teams, I center the individual and their wisdom in the process.

I am a former journalist, so I listen to, and appreciate, people’s stories and experiences, knowing that they provide valuable resources for their growth. I challenge and support. I provide structure and space to explore.

Marjorie “Mo” Baldwin MM, PCC

She has developed a deep understanding of competition and exploration through her experiences as co-captain of an undefeated varsity collegiate team and from extensive travel through Europe, Africa and Southeast Asia.  She brings a unique combination of this spirit balanced with sound leadership practices that creates a space in which her clients can address complex issues positively and productively. Mo has guided leadership development and strategic planning in corporate, nonprofit, government and higher education environments for 25 years.

Sharon Barbour MPH, PCC

Madison, WI

I am a Mentor Coach for Presence-Based Coaching and am lucky enough to teach coaching, to mentor coaches and to COACH!  I’ve been coaching since 2007 and bring loads of experience and training with me, along with a caring and at times playful presence to serve you and what’s important to you. I’ve coached hundreds of people and work primarily with women leaders, women creatives and women starting a new chapter of life.  (And a few brave men!)  My clients generally have created much good in their personal or professional lives but currently feel stuck and aren’t able to move through it with their usual methods.  I learn so much from my clients and am moved and uplifted by the care and the wisdom in each of them.

Madison, Wisconsin is my home, where I live near lakes, woods, bike paths and a lively downtown that I love.  I have two teen daughters that light up my life, along with a circle of friends and music-makers. My ideal summer day will find me playing my uke, kayaking on Lake Wingra, pulling weeds and picking tomatoes at my community plot or simply lying on the earth, enjoying the sights, sounds and smells of life.

Let me know if you’d like to talk!  I offer free “exploratory” sessions – see my website link above.

John Chilkotowsky PCC

Ithaca, NY

I help leaders find greater clarity, confidence, and calm. Executive coaching with me is for C-Suite leaders, senior executives, and directors of for-profit and nonprofit organizations ready to achieve something truly remarkable.

I am a former Senior Consultant at Accenture for Fortune 100 companies with more than 25 years of executive & leadership experience across multiple industries, including work as an Executive Director with nonprofit organizations. I am based near Ithaca, NY and serve leaders throughout N. America and Europe.

One of my ongoing practices is parkour. Parkour is a training discipline where the aim is to get from one point to another in a complex environment, in the fastest and most graceful way possible. When I practice scaling a wall or falling into a roll on the ground, I learn about creativity, optimism vs. reality, the need for self-care, and more that I apply in my work with leaders.

Vivienne H. Dutzar MS, RD, CD

Spokane, WA

A coaching invitation is made to you to welcome yourself into your own miraculous body with non-judgmental awareness. We will partner around your focus on greater health for yourself as well as for our planet.

The face of nourishment does not look like a diet! As a registered dietitian, my awareness of the complexities of lovingly nourishing ourselves and those dear to us continues to grow. I work with our capacity for self-nurturing, and understand deeply that this is integral to sharing our gifts in the world. In these days of crisis in healthcare, nutrition and self-nurturing are essential components of integrative / complementary medicine. Individual choices for a healthier life are both our right and our responsibility.

Lisa Eby

Asheville, NC

What do you care about? What matters to you? What do you long for? Those are questions that open the coaching conversation. And then the hard part, figuring out how to live into these declarations.

Throughout my career as an HR Director, I often saw how people are tripped-up by their own selves. I also saw how the culture of an organization and the social dynamics of our society can frame and constrain an individual’s growth. Navigating these complex situations requires a centered presence – one where you can access developed internal resources.

Coaching, based in presence and mindfulness, opens up a safe space for you to explore your best self and to test new ways of showing up in your relationships with others; shedding old habits and developing new ways of being.

My commitment is to bring the coaching experience to those who might not otherwise be able to afford it. My longing is for a world where people at all levels of organizations and our society have the tools to access the resiliency within them and the opportunity to develop what they need to lead a rich and fulfilling life.

Together, let’s figure out how to be your best self.

Roxi Bahar Hewertson MPS - PCC

Brevard, NC

I coach leaders at every stage of career and life. One of the most powerful lessons I’ve learned in my coaching journey is how magnificently resourceful every client is when given the opportunity. It is also humbling to observe, time and again, how transformative this work can be. Becoming a certified Presence-Based Coach, and a certified PCC ICF Coach, have been gifts that keep on giving to both my clients and me.

Whether one is a new, emerging leader, a senior executive, or even considering life/work reinvention, my “in the trenches” experience has given me a great deal of empathy for people who lead people. Prior to becoming a professional coach, several years of my career focused on helping leaders and their teams create healthy work cultures and great results. I served as a senior leader and adjunct faculty at Cornell University, where I received my Masters Degree in Industrial & Labor Relations. For 25 years I also worked as a consultant to corporate, higher education, public education, and non-profit leaders.  My passion for helping leaders led me to write two books: Lead Like it Matters…Because it Does (McGraw-Hill 2014), and Hire Right, Fire Right: A Leader’s Guide to Finding and Keeping Your Best People (Rowman & Littlefield 2020).

Coaching individual leaders and their teams is now my primary focus. Whatever stage in life and work my clients find themselves, I’m enthusiastically in their corner and excited about the amazing things that can happen when we partner together.

Kim Meek PCC

I engage with individuals and organizations to achieve aspirational goals, elevate professional performance and unlock potential. I am known for my grounded candor, ability to assess challenging situations and see both individuals and organizations from a holistic perspective. It gives me great satisfaction to help clients burst through limiting beliefs and practices, move beyond their comfort zone and choose growth.

My C-Suite executive leadership experience and diverse consulting and coaching background spans multiple business disciplines and environments at the operational and strategic levels. From this experience, I believe opportunities for connection and more powerful outcomes are missed because we operate with our head and minimize our heart and intuition. Through my work with clients, I help them recognize these sources as powerful allies and integrate them into new ways of being. They are more present, confident and leverage their resources in new ways that enable being and acting more purposefully. I have observed what possibilities can be ignited when we can harness all of our centers of knowledge. To see this shift in others is why I am a Coach.

Margaret Morse PCC

Phoenix, AZ

I love working with individuals who want to live bigger, bolder, braver, and more authentic lives.

Up until Presence Based Coaching, I considered my body as something that walked my head around. Now, I know and appreciate the wisdom that exists in our bodies and the wonderful outcomes that can occur when the body and mind partner in support of a shared purpose. Given that many of my clients view their bodies as I once did, it’s an honor to help people build awareness, which creates choice, and establish practices, which expands their capacity for more… success, joy, fulfillment.

Prior to becoming a coach, I spent 25 years in corporate America. My career spanned the giants of the financial services industry, including JPMorgan Chase, American Express, Wells Fargo, and Silicon Valley Bank. Throughout my career, I partnered with leaders across the globe to define their direction and brand, build culture, introduce and sustain change, navigate crises, and create a roadmap for success… all concepts and skills I now bring to coaching and my clients’ vision for their lives.

Additionally, I completed 200-Hour Yoga Teacher Training and am Chopra Center-trained meditation teacher.

Olivia Pedersen BA, PGCE, ACTP, ACC

Atlanta, GA

I am English but live in Atlanta. I have spent the past thirty years of my life teaching middle schoolers. In the past 19 years I have focused on mentoring and supporting teachers, a profession that demands high adaptability to change. I have recently started a private practice as a life-coach. My approach is to work collaboratively with you to develop greater self-understanding. Together we will identify habits that will hold you back from leading a full and meaningful life. We will find good practices to help you cultivate a healthy mindset and gain perspective on whatever challenges and dilemmas you may be facing. Above all, I believe that you have all the answers and just need help to unlock them. In my experience the learning never ends. Staying curious and open to what life offers up is a rewarding and fulfilling practice.

Lori Pyle Ph.D., ACC

Shenandoah Valley, VA

In the coaching relationship, I co-create a space for people to reconnect with their true nature and develop a well-rooted, sustainable way of living, leading, and being. Inherent in my approach is a belief that each of us already has what we need to grow and develop. Often, our true nature is there beneath the layers of habits and protected ways of being, just waiting to catch glimpses of light and a deep breath. We have been conditioned in many ways to spend our energy hiding and pivoting in reactive ways to simply make it through the day. In the meantime, we long for something more — a more alive presence that helps us meaningfully connect to ourselves and to others.

For more than 25 years, I have focused on developing people, projects, programs, and organizations. I connect with people from diverse work sectors including higher education, healthcare, for-profit/corporate, and non-profit; and in different career and life stages. I have an undergraduate degree in psychology, an MBA in healthcare administration, and a Ph.D. in strategic leadership in higher education. Clients who work with me often report greater self-awareness and confidence, and an increased ability to tap into their inner resources across professional and personal situations.

In addition to my love of coaching, I enjoy digging in the dirt, watching things grow, exercising outdoors, reading, writing, and trying my hand at small home projects. I live in the beautiful Shenandoah Valley of Virginia with my spouse and a cat, who both remind me how to have fun in the midst of the complexities of the world.

Mark Rovner

Takoma Park, MD

Why do you suppose that the more exceptional you are, the more you are likely to doubt yourself? My aspiration as a coach is to help exceptional people find their wings.

At Sea Change, we focus on change makers — movement leaders, nonprofit CEOs, development directors, communications directors and others committed to making a better world. Coaching can give you the tools you need to navigate the unique challenges of nonprofit leadership and the skills to grow yourself as a human being.

One key to our approach is training in self-compassion. An experienced meditation instructor, I’ve personally experienced the power of practice and am eager to share it. That, and the emerging (and exciting) neuroscience of happiness, coupled with the powerful methodology of presence-based coaching, makes for a potent offering for anyone looking to up their game from good to amazing. Is that you?

Kara Tremain MBA, ACC

Los Angeles, CA

After a 30-year career as a consultant, executive and board member, I launched Tremain Coaching to help senior executives, emerging leaders and business owners break new ground on themselves to not only transform the way they lead, but how they approach any goal or obstacle in their lives. We tend to see ourselves as having two lives: business and personal. As the old adage goes, wherever you go, there you are. The work I do with clients allows them to see themselves in their entirety, not as a compartmentalized being. I take a holistic approach that considers all of you — heart, body and mind. This allows you to move from where you are to where you want to be.

While my background is in health care, serving health systems, hospitals and physicians, I coach leaders in a variety of industries.

I consider myself a lifelong learner, and love picking up new skills and knowledge. I enjoy photography, running, weightlifting, yoga (certified teacher), reiki (certified master), sound healing (trained), cha dao (tea ceremony) and meditation.
